	1.	What we want is the number of civel days of the given number of years which are less than the lunar days ; for one civil day is greater than one lunar day . हमें तो आवश्यकता है वर्षों की संख़्या विशेष के व्यावहारिक दिनों की संख़्या की , जो चांद्र दिवसों की संख़्या से कम है क़्योंकि एक व्यावहारिक दिवस एक चांद्र दिवस से बड़ा होता है .
	2.	The quotient you get , as far as it represents complete days , is subtracted from the number written in the second place , and the remainder is the savanahargana , i.e . the sum of civil days which we wanted to find . इसका जो भागफल निकले , उसमें जहां तक पूरे दिन हों , उसे दूसरी जगह लिखी संख़्या से घटा दें और जो शेष बचे वही सावनाहर्गण अर्थात व्यावहारिक दिनों का योग होगा जो हम निकालना चाहते थे .
